- Florida Keys native connection; Married to a fifth generation Keys Native whose family first resided in the Keys in the early 1900's; Husband's grandfather actually dredged many of the canals our homes are built on such as the neighborhoods of Duck Key and Port Antigua
- Raised two children in the Florida Keys public school system who now attend University of Florida (Go Gators!)
